BHIPP Half-Day CME/CEU: Addressing & Managing Pediatric Mental Health in Primary Care (In-person)

Please join Maryland Behavioral Health Integration in Pediatric Primary Care (BHIPP) for a BHIPP Webinar focused on Medical and Behavioral Management of Functional Constipation in Pediatric Primary Care. This session will feature a presentation by Shauna Reinblatt, MD.

Free CME/CEU credit available for participation! *Certificates will only be awarded to participants that attend for 45 minutes or more of the session.*

Learning Objectives:
By the end of the session, participants will be able to:
1. Identify the processes and understand principles of motivational interviewing.
2. Identify motivational interviewing skills to help patients/youths/families engage in behavior change.
2. Initiate and monitor medications to treat anxiety and depression in children and adolescents.
4. Use appropriate screening tools to evaluate suicide risk in pediatric patients.
5. Create a safety plan with youth with suicidal ideation.

CME/CEU Credit for Participation:
Free 3.5 CME/CEU credits are available for participation! Application for CME credit has been filed with the American Academy of Family Physicians. Determination of credit is pending.
