Jan McIntyre is a clinical social worker with over 40 years of experience with university, public school districts, counseling agencies and hospice/medical settings. She has over 35 years of field supervisor experience and is dedicated to professional social work growth. Throughout her career she has worked as a therapist with individuals, families, and couples; has served as a consultant to educators for students in the areas of mental health, severe classroom behaviors, community resources, and crisis intervention; has provided case management; and has delivered professional development on a variety of topics. Jan serves as the program manager for BHIPP’s co-location internship program with Salisbury University. In this role she oversees the coordination of the internship program which places MSW students in pediatric primary care settings to deliver social work services. Jan is a Board Approved Supervisor with the Maryland Board of Social Work Examiners and has always been involved in local, state and national politics; working to support leaders who work to advocate for all human rights.
